Overview
This online course provides comprehensive access to electronic learning materials from the 2025 FRACP teaching programmes, designed to support exam-focused revision for the October 2026 FRACP Part 1 Written Examination.
Upon completion of final registration and payment, participants will receive login credentials for the FRACP Teaching Website shortly thereafter. This provides access to lecture slides and recorded videos from the Weekly Teaching Programme 2025, the Intensive Two-Week Course 2025, or both programmes at a discounted rate. Participants must select their preferred study option when completing the Eligibility & Study Option Registration Form.
Who should attend?
This short course is designed for basic paediatric trainees in New Zealand and Australia who are preparing for the FRACP Part 1 Written Examination in October 2026.
Participants should have foundational knowledge in paediatrics appropriate to their stage of training and be actively preparing for the written examination.
Short Course Structure and Topics Covered (Study Options):
Option 1 – Online Access to Weekly Teaching Programme 2025 - $2,600
Participants gain online access to the full FRACP Paediatric Part 1 Weekly Teaching Programme from 2025–2026, including 50 topic presentations, six monthly practice exams, and two 50-question Paper 1 and Paper 2 practice exams at the end (300+ MCQs with detailed feedback). Many participants use the timetable as a structured 30-week study plan.
Option 2 – Online Access to Intensive Two-Week Course 2025 - $2,600
Participants gain online access to the full FRACP Paediatric Part 1 Intensive Two-Week Course from 2025. This course provides a comprehensive revision of topics from the Weekly Teaching Programme, with some additional exclusive content. It includes one 50-question MCQ practice exam with detailed feedback (identical to MCQ #6 from the Weekly Teaching Programme). Each day in the original course ran from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, providing an intensive and focused schedule.
Option 3 – Combined Access - $3,900
Participants can access both programmes online at a discounted rate. The courses are complementary: the Weekly Teaching Programme provides structured, ongoing study and practice, while the Intensive Two-Week Course offers concentrated revision.

Registration and Payment:
To enrol in this study option, participants must first complete the Eligibility & Study Option Registration Form. Once eligibility has been confirmed, participants will receive instructions for payment and final registration.
Registrations are accepted until the end of July 2026. Late registrations may be considered on a case-by-case basis; however, course fees and access duration will remain unchanged.
Course fees are payable upon confirmation of eligibility. A place in the course is secured once payment has been received.
This course is non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the event that FMHS cancels the course, in which case fees will be fully refunded.
Website Access & Extension:
Access to all online course materials will remain available until 31 October 2026.
Course access is time-limited and will not be automatically extended if participants change their intended examination date. However, participants may purchase a website access extension for an additional fee if their exam is deferred beyond 31 October 2026.
Registration is processed through the University of Auckland Short Course platform. While participants may receive automated Canvas Learn login details from the University, all course materials for this programme are hosted exclusively on the FRACP Teaching Website.
Payment for short courses is normally by credit card. If you need to pay by invoice or require assistance, please email shortcourses@auckland.ac.nz. Please note that the University does not issue individual invoices for amounts less than $500 New Zealand dollars.
