Short course structure and topics covered:
Participants who have little or no experience in theatre work will receive instruction in the principles and methods of laparoscopic surgery. There will be plenty of opportunities to acquire manual skills during workshops designed to increase dexterity and depth perception and allow proper use of equipment.
Learning outcomes:
- Endosurgery – principles and ergonomics, includes camera operation
- How to use vision and insufflation equipment
- Practice manual skills using training simulators

This is a practical hands on course to gain experience in the techniques of laparoscopic surgery.
