Modality: In-person (8.30am to 4.00pm)

Price: $1,480.00 incl GST
Short course structure and topics covered:
- Anatomy through a telescope
- How to assist in surgery
- Lectrosurgery principles and safety
- Practise manual skills using training simulators
Learning outcomes:
- First step in becoming a surgical assistant
- Understand and follow safe and best practice techniques
Who should attend? / any entry requirements?
This course is for theatre nurses who have experience in laparoscopic surgery. They will be given in depth information and practice time to enable them to become proactive camera operators and first assistants in surgery.
The course is limited to 16 participants on a “first come first serve” basis. NZ Trainees have priority.
