Optimising Performance & Productivity is a practical, evidence-informed course designed to help participants move beyond time management and instead optimise their performance through better energy management. It focuses on understanding natural rhythms, identifying energy drains and boosters, and designing work patterns that align with real-life demands.

Participants will gain a clearer picture of how their energy, attention, and capability fluctuate across the week, and how these impact focus, productivity, and wellbeing. The course provides practical tools, protocols, and adjustments that can be applied immediately, even in busy, interruption-heavy environments.

The programme also acknowledges factors such as working styles, hormonal health and neurodivergence, ensuring an inclusive and realistic approach to sustainable performance.

Short course structure and topics covered:

The course is structured around five key modules:

1. The Five Energy Domains (The Why)

Explore underlying drivers of energy patterns and identify which domains need support.

2. The Diagnostic Clinic (The Where)

Map current ways of working, identify friction points, and understand where energy is being lost.

3. Map Your Week (The What)

Map your current week, spot the mismatches and design an ideal energy week built around your natural rhythms.

4. Adapt Protocols for Your Week (The How)

Identify 1-2 practical, repeatable behaviours to enhance focus and output that align with individual work realities.

5. Recalibrate for a Noisy World (Make it Stick)

Address disruptions such as interruptions, unclear priorities, and weak boundaries to ensure sustainability.

Short Course benefits and learning outcomes:

For the individual:

  • Align tasks with personal energy patterns to improve effectiveness.
  • Identify peaks, dips, and energy drains to guide daily decisions.
  • Apply strategies to manage cognitive load and protect attention.
  • Build a simple, repeatable 'ideal energy week' that can be consistently applied in real work conditions.

For the organisation:

  • Better prioritisation and energy management reduce rework, delays and inefficiencies, leading to higher-quality outputs and greater productivity.
  • Stronger work habits (e.g. focus time, boundaries, prioritisation) influence colleagues and team practices.
  • Improved energy management supports wellbeing and enables more consistent performance.

Who should attend? / any entry requirements?
