Perineal Repair Course

Duration: Half day morning course (9:30am - 2:30pm)

Price: $680 (incl. GST)

Short course structure and topics covered:  

Lectures will be complemented by practise under supervision using latex episiotomy trainers that simulate the perineal anatomy.

This course is approved by the Midwifery Council of New Zealand and allocated attendance of 5 hours.

Each course is limited to 16 participants on a “first come first serve” basis. 

Learning outcomes:  

This is a practical hands on course to gain experience in the techniques of closing perineal wounds. 

Who should attend? / any entry requirements?  

This is a half-day morning course for midwives and junior doctors.
